How much work is too much work? I have been at the shop for a whole week trying to finish up the race car. Its really kinda sad, i have been neglecting my friends and family.  also missed the chance to go to bonneville and that really blows. well maybe next time, at least the car will be ready for it.

To all that are interested in my life,

First things first, what the hell did i get myself into. So as you all know i'm building a racecar. This has to be the most un-enjoyable car to build. I hate notching the tubes for the roll cage, I hate working when it's too hot and I also hate meeting a dead line. So much money went into this project and i hurts so bad, but nothing gonna stop us now i'm gonna hold you in my arms forever. haha. So i leave Los Angeles on Aug. 14 for Bonneville. It's already the 12th of July, man i gots to get my ass cracking.

So far the roll cage is 40% done. We ended up using the 1 5/8" x 0.95" 4130 CM tubing. (4) 6"X6" plates MIG welded to chassis on the floor board around the drivers compartment. Main hoop, forward hoop, lower side bar and 1 rear support TIG welded in the corresponding place. OH SHIT!!! I got my Weld racing wheels in. Almost forgot to tell you guys. These wheels are better looking in real life. 15"x3.5" forged 1 piece aluminum. In gold. I have them on all 4 corners. I must be an idiot to buy 4 of them. Anyway, the fronts are 1.75 back space, rears are 2.25. If you dont know what they look like, John Force has them on the front of his dragster only mine are 5 x 114.3 not spindle mounts. Started on the turbo manifold today. I'm using 321 stainless steel. 304 stainless has an maximum heat rating of only 800 degrees fahrenheit, where 321 is about 1200 degrees fahrenheit.

Lets move on to my personal life.

As you can see, nothing has changed. Still here, kinda lonly right now but its all good. If i had a GF right now she would bitch about the money being dumped into the car. That's why I have to do it now.

new update on the car. installed a b18c .25mm over ctr pistons, jun stage 4 cams, aebs intake manifold and a power fc. the car made 198hp to the wheels. ran it at buttonwillow raceway for the super street time attack and took home first place in the limited ff class with a 2.03 lap time. now its going to be taken apart to install the cage...i'll give more as the project progresses.
